I found these cookies on Pinterest and got a horrible sweet tooth! I wanted to make them and I wanted to make them fast! So instead of going for the typical recipe which you can find here. I chose sugar cookies because well I love sugar cookies for one and I really didn't have time or money to find anything on the other recipe. I knew picking sugar cookies would run me the risk of them being too sweet and also melting too much as they cook. They did lose a little bit of shape but still looked amazingly colorful!

This is by far my favorite breakfast meal to make. I'm not a breakfast person, so cooking so early was always a drag. Until I found this, now I want one for every morning! It's so delicious and healthy, the fun part is you can change it around. I made mine very basic to try it for the first time but once I did, I already started imagining to make some of blueberries and cranberries. Yum! You must give this a try! Heres how I made mine...

Basics:
(For your very own recipe to start with)
- Milk of your choice
- Rolled Oats
- Greek Yogurt

My Ingredients:
(Enough to fit in an 8oz mason jar)
- 2/3 cup almond milk (vanilla)
- 1/2 cup organic rolled oats
- 1/2 cup of vanilla Greek yogurt
- 1/2 tsp of cinnamon

Toppings:

-1 Sliced banana

- Agave/honey
-Pinch of brown sugar

Instructions:
Mix all the ingredients in a bowl, then pour in a mason jar (perfect for a seal tight container). Refrigerate the mixture overnight (or at least 4 hours). It's ready to go, you can choose to add any extras to your mixture, as well as a topping of your preference. Anything from chia seeds and raisins to strawberries and peaches! Make it your own.

Good morning! Happy Valentines Day to those that enjoy celebrating the day of love! Today I tried my hardest to wake up extra early so the hubs can have some delicious not-every-day style breakfast. For starters I want to begin by saying that this is the first time I made pancakes without them messing up by sticking or burning! I'm glad my skills kicked in today. Also this breakfast was supposed to have heart shaped bacon but apparently someone ate it all last night... Cough cough hubs cough cough.

Anyways, I want to share this Red Velvet Pancakes recipe because they truly came out delicious! It doesn't have to be valentines day to make them.

Ingredients for Pancakes

- 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour.
- 2 cups of red velvet cake mix.
- 2 eggs.
- Pinch of salt.
- 3/4 of baking powder.
- 1tsp of vanilla extract.
- 1-2 cups of milk or water.
- 1tbp of sugar.

For the frosting I just bought cake frosting and melted it. Easiest and fastest way to get cream cheese syrup.

Instructions
- In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients with exception of the milk or water and whisk together.
- Slowly start pouring in your milk/water until you reach your desire consistency. (I prefer it a little thicker, it seems to make them fluffier).
- Once mixed, make sure pan is at a medium temperature, you don't want it to cook them too slowly or too fast! Turning the dial a little below midway should make it around 300 degrees.
- With a spatula, after you see the top bubble, flip and cook the opposite side. Keep an eye on it!
- For frosting, pour in a small microwave safe container, for merely 15-20 seconds. Pour over pancakes, throw in some sprinkles and you're done!

Hope you enjoy the pancakes as much as I did! Be on the look out for different color velvet cakes at walmart! I saw some pink and blue velvet cake mix!

I'm not huge on the holiday but I do love to make everything pink and red! I can't wait for Jax to be able to eat real food so he can enjoy the holidays the way I do.

For the cinnamon buns all it takes is just some reshaping and adding some pink food coloring to the glaze!

For those of you that follow me on instagram you have seen that I've been doing Paleo and I've been working so hard on sticking with a very healthy meal guide. Today was the only day I get to indulge in anything sweet like this. But I did try to not over do it and still managed to have my delicious healthy fruits on the side!

Little man slept in till after the hubs left for work and after I was able to eat. He woke up in such a great mood! I just love when he does, he changed my mood completely and makes me happy in the mornings... Like that ever happens! He gets so talkative and lately is very distracted by his feet.

We just had a wonderful morning. I'm glad I was able to have the time to do something for my love since today we work opposite shifts and I won't be seeing him till after 9pm! Have a wonderful and lovely Valentines Day Everyone!
