Now that baby is growing up I have made a few changes to my diaper bag. I've mentioned this before and I'll say it again. I have an obsession with diaper bags. I test out so many because I'm so dang picky. But I have to say this brand I came across, the second I saw it I fell in love! I was looking for a gorgeous neutral and yet functional bag when I came across this Mina Baie Emmy I had to have it and it's been my go to bag ever since! Its not just aesthetically pleasing but its so handy and easy to grab and pack for my baby and myself. I wanted to keep it simple and easy for grab and as you can see in my previous diaper bag packing, I'm not over packing this time either.

Coming from someone that is OBSESSED with diaper bags as well as organization and carrying every possible thing I may need. I wanted to keep this diaper bag very simple and useful. I was aiming for an everyday diaper bag. So this is what I would have on a daily basis because you never know when the baby will go or worse yet, when they'll have a diaper explosion. The one thing I didn't put on here that I have essentially on every purse and bag is hand sanitizer. Always hanging on the outside for easy access to any sanitation needed specially during these times.

Living in a house with two stories, you can only imagine why this is a genius idea! I hate running up and down the stairs and much less with a new baby in need of a new diaper or whatever it may be. I was originally going to make this cart to keep next to my bed however it makes more sense for this to be downstairs by the bassinet. I can set it up next to the rocking chair as well and make it a breastfeeding area or pumping area, as well as keep the changing mat there for quick diaper changes. I wanted the grooming and diaper changing things to be inside a caddy for easy grab if I needed to move anywhere in the house. The middle tier is all pumping supplies or anything to help with breastfeeding. The last tier is mainly for burp cloths, swaddles/blankets and extras of diapers and wipes to keep handy just in case. Anything to make my life easier and keep baby as happy as possible.

As time gets closer I'm working day by day to put together my hospital bag and babys bag. I wanted to be able to have it ready to go with either things I already had or just adding last minute things. I didn't want to overthink it because in all honestly during my past pregnancies there was SO MUCH I packed and did not end up using! I wanted it to be simple and to the point. I'm also not really making my husband one because he has more freedom to go out and grab food for himself as well as go home and change or shower. Unlike me, I'll be confined to a room and checked in. Other than a charger the dads don't really need much.

Weekender Bag: This bag was perfect to fit all my needs and be easy to just keep in my car ready to go whenever needed. I love that it has a wide opening and pockets all around.

Blanket: I've never once brought my own blanket or my own pillows, but I always did wish I had. Although if you ask they provide more blankets for you. I wanted something soft and comfy for me to relax with and get a good sleep when possible.

Scrunchies: Can't go wrong with scrunchies! Whether you want to keep your hair out of your face during labor or out of your babies face when nursing. They come in handy!

iPhone Tripod: My tripod came with a bluetooth remote and I literally keep that in my car in case there's ever a selfie chance. With all the world is going through and rules changing every single day, there may not be anyone else to take photos and it shouldn't be missed just because of that. Take your own photos. Take your own videos! Who cares? Those memories are for you and your family.

Chargers: 10ft chargers will always be a game changer. Being in a room you've more than likely never been in, you won't know where the closest chargers are. To be able to keep in touch with others or take photos and even throughout the night for feedings, you want to make sure you are within reach of your phone and keeping it charged.

Fuzzy Grip Socks: Hospitals are freezing and fuzzy socks not only keep you warm but they keep you steady. Specially after delivering the baby and being able to get up for the first time. Your body is extremely weak and you keep the help to keep steady.

Cotton Panties: Stretchy and soft panties will help you with the pads and being able to go to the bathroom easier. I didn't love the hospitals ones because they were see-through. I prefer to stay in soft stretchy ones of my own.

Slippers: I'd say more of outdoor slippers. I want to be able to get up and put them on easy without having to bed over as well as be able to walk out of the hospital with them on my feet. No one wants to tie their shoes after delivery. Be as lazy as necessary.

Nursing Bras: This one is pretty obvious if you plan on breastfeeding. I like having support and feeling a bit more put together. If i don't have anything on I feel like a blob, literally! I also like knowing I can try to breastfeed on demand without getting half naked.

Nursing Cami: I have a black one I put on right after delivering and it was my go-to every single day for 2 weeks after. It was comfortable and easy to nurse with. It wasn't super tight and it was stretchy and ever since I knew I would get another for me to go to bed with. Night feedings were a breeze!

Belly Band: This has nothing to do with getting your body back because that takes months! However right after your body is extremely weak and the support it had by holding my stomach together was honestly liberating. It took off the pressure of my stomach sticking out by holding the muscles together. It does so much, I think it gets a whole lot of misconceptions.

Light Up Mirror: Let's be honest, if you want to put yourself together those bathrooms mirrors and lights will not help you at all. Not to mention you have to stand in the bathroom to do it. This mirror is perfect to do your makeup on the bed sitting down comfortably.

*Makeup Bag and Toiletry Bag: I linked here both bags to show what each has individually. I knew I didn't want to bring too much, specially when it comes to makeup but I did want something to refresh myself with and not look like death. Toiletries wise I do take body showers but I don't wash my hair. So I brought the very minimal essentials so I can get all the gross sweat off afterwards and feel more put together.

Going Home Outfit: Just like baby, mama needs something super comfortable to go home in. Getting to walk out of the hospital and getting in a car, believe it or not can take a lot of out of you as is. The softest and most stretchy outfits I found that came in a 3 piece set.

When it came to my makeup I have been keeping it super simple and I knew I wanted to do the same whenever I was either delivering (depending on the time) or leaving the hospital. I know I want photos with my babies and I want to feel good in them. That's my personal choice though. I typically wear sunscreen and lashes only but every now and then I use foundation and blush too. Here I put together my most go-tos.

Waterproof Mascara: Gotta prevent that mascara from ruining your photos with all the tears!

Glow Sunscreen: Always protect your skin no matter where you are! Plus this brand is my favorite, it gives you such a beautiful natural glow and the fact that it's 40spf and not heavy or leaving a white casts is such a plus!

Light Foundation: I love the Airflash by Dior, it is just sooo light and such a beautiful coverage.

LipGloss: In case you need a little color on those lips, but definitely don't forget some chapstick. All the laboring leaves your lips extra dry.

Blending Sponge: I find the sponge to be far more versatile than a brush plus it leaves my makeup blended way nicer. I use different angles of it for different types of makeup. It's like an all in one sort of thing and it's way easier to clean than brushes. Make sure you have a case for your sponge so it doesn't get dirty!

Lashes & Glue: Always need a good set of lashes. I used to get lash extensions but my lashes suffered a lot, so ever since I invested in many types of lashes, some glam some natural and some for the in between moments. A lash just makes the face change and it is my top must have in this bag!

Blush/Highlighter Set: Sometimes we gotta look a little bit alive. You never need too much of these, so I don't consider them to be an absolute need, but they do bring some color to your face.

Blending Brush: This is sort of up in the air for me. If I do blush and highlights sure, if I opt out of them then I can make do with a sponge.

Setting Spray: Absolute need if you're laboring in makeup or if you want it to stay on through day tie nap times.

Makeup Remover Wipes: Easiest most convenient way to remove all that dirt and makeup at the end of the day.

I'm not planning on washing my hair at the hospital, frankly because my hair doesn't get gross that quick and also because towels at hospitals are awful. I didn't want to take too long in washing my hair, blow drying it and styling it so I wouldn't look like a lioness mess. I much rather spray on some dry shampoo and wash my body instead. Therefore I'm not focusing on bringing shampoo and conditioner like I have with previous pregnancies.

Toiletry Bag: I prefer the hard ones so I know my stuff isn't getting squashed and it helps that it has separators to stand up some things and organize nicely.

Hair Brush: Pretty self explanatory why a brush is needed. Specially if you're in bed most the time, your hair can be such a tangled mess.

Silicone Brush: I found this silicone brush is better than a regular sponge. It's not only softer but it doesn't stay soaking wet even after wrangling all that water out.

Body Wash: Scrub all the sweat and nasty stuff that comes out of us during labor. The first shower always feels amazing!

Deodorant: I'm only packing a mini to save room but this one is one of my favorites and natural for my body.

Body Lotion: Keep your skin moisturized! Your body looses so much within the first days of giving birth, don't forget to lotion up all over and drink plenty of water.

Dry Shampoo:  As I mentioned I'm not going to wash my hair so dry shampoo is by far my best friend.

Hair Oil: To give my hair a little shine.

Body Spray: This depends on you, I personally love to smell good however you need to be careful what you spray around a new baby, as they may react to certain sprays and fragrances.

Face Wash: You never know what time you'll be going into labor even if you're induced it could take hours. I feel like I need it after a long day and right before bed.

Facial Oil: I personally have a mix of dry/oily skin. Facial oil has just been my go to and I love how my skin feels so soft in the mornings. It's also natural and simple.

Face Moisturizer: Like I said my skin is a mix, so I need the moisturizer for the night time and right before I apply any sort of makeup.

Toothpaste: Pretty self explanatory.

Toothbrush: Same ^ but do try to make sure it's a travel one or has a protective lid to prevent it from getting nasty in your bag!

Belly Oil: Just because the belly isn't technically growing anymore doesn't mean it still doesn't need the help. Specially if you did get stretch marks during pregnancy, it its to relief the itch and help reduce them. Keep up with it! I love using it on my knees and elbows as well.

I have a maternity shoot all scheduled out but there were two types of maternity shoots I wanted with this pregnancy so I decided to do one myself. I got a pretty dress, got my makeup done and did my hair and headed straight for the mountains. I've mentioned before that my favorite part of living in Nevada is not Vegas but the actual surrounding areas. Like the mountains and deserts. I used to LOVE the forest back in England so the outdoors is by far my favorite areas to shoot at. I had to be in front of the camera obviously so I had to teach my husband how to do what I do. I gotta say, I wasn't aiming for 100 photos but the ones we did get came out exactly as I had pictured. I can't wait for my next shoot! We're about 9 weeks away from baby time and as I mentioned before, I feel 90% sure this baby will come earlier than expected!

Keeping your skin hydrated and moisturized is a huge step when becoming pregnant to try and avoid stretch marks, however they are hereditary and can happen no matter how much you try and prevent them. I got stretch marks on my hip when I gained weight after high school, but somehow managed to not get any during any pregnancy. The human body is just strange but yet magnificent. Regardless within each pregnancy I sort of created my very own 'stretch mark' cream. Mainly because I wanted an all in one type of daily lotion/oil.

Having had 2 kids previously a boy and a girl, I knew right away I wanted to aim for neutrals. I didn't want to go overboard with the shopping either. At this rate I knew what I liked that had worked for me and I knew I wanted to be as minimalistic as possibly. Having gone from becoming a mom at 22 years old to now 30 is such a huge difference. My taste has changed so much but so has my need to keep my house clutter free. Therefore I knew I wanted to only invest in absolute necessities and aesthetically pleasing to the eye. Here are my very top newborn must haves.

Nuna Car Seat: We went with the Nuna Pipa LX this time because ever since we've owned their stroller with my daughter, it was by far the best money I ever spent. I loved it so much I didn't get rid of it and its still looking like brand new. I knew I wanted the same feel and style for the car seat. Not to mention the fact that this car seat weights barely 6lbs! Babies get heavy, your carseat shouldn't be as heavy. Aside from amazing crash reviews it's such a beautiful car seat and very gender neutral.

Bedside Bassinet: This one was a tough one. Back with my first child we did the playyard with the changing table on the side for our bedroom. It was simple and easy however it took so much room and it was hard to keep my son asleep in it since it was so large and not necessarily comfortable. With my daughter we did a small cradle cot. It was more snug but very low. Took up way less room however I knew I wanted something at my level. Everything seemed to be so expensive and overpriced for what it was and ever more so with all the features. This one I felt was more price adequate and it has so many features. From lighting up to movement to Alexa commands. It has it all including storage!

Snuggle Me: I actually ended up getting the DockaTot again for couch lounging, however we had a bassinet we wanted to keep downstairs and I knew the snuggle me would be a perfect fit for it. Its soft and snuggles the baby perfectly. Not to mention this color is gorgeous!

Muslin Swaddles: Believe it or not I never used the muslin swaddles for swaddling. They aren't stretchy so I found them a bit hard to keep on babies, however as blankets they are perfect! We live in a place where summer is 115 degrees outside. This is breathable and won't have the baby overheating.

Baby Tub: I had seen so many of those little tubs with holes and I loved how simple they were but I didn't like how much space they took and I knew I would have to use it in a tub or sink. I didn't want that stress on my back. When I found this tub, I loved that it was for both newborns and babies as well as even toddlers. The best part? It's collapsable and it even comes with a hook to let drain and dry in your shower.

Boon Nursh Bottles: I used glass bottles with both my kids because plastic bottles get so dirty and cloudy and smell awful over time. However this time I went with silicone. I'm hoping I don't regret it but I liked the wide opening so I don't spill breastmilk adding it in or making a bottle with formula. Have you seen all the colors available? I also loved that you can change the lid for straw sippys once they outgrow the bottles therefore making it even more useable. I like that almost every part is easy to find and replace as well. Not many provide that functionality.

Pacifiers: I cant tell you how happy I am that Ryan & Rose came out with a mix of pacifiers! This is actually genius. Both my kids liked different pacis and thats why I knew I wanted to bring a couple different ones this time around. You never know what style of paci your baby will end up taking or even if taking one at all. I prefer for my child to take one because it has so many benefits other than self soothing. It's a great factor in SIDs prevention. Also their color variety is impeccable. I have never seen so many colors by any other brand.

Bottle Warmer: I have always aimed to breastfeed as much as possible but sometimes I needed some help with formula and thats ok! I also find it helpful to freeze extras so I can also get help feeding the baby and it's not just me up all night alone. A warmer helps for both breastmilk and formula specially when you can thaw milk and bring it to body temperature according to the amount of ounces in the bottle. I plan on keeping this in my room for night feedings.

Zipper Baby Onesies: Coming from someone that works in daycare with babies, zippers are your best friend! Specially for nighttime diaper changes as well if you like to have a beautiful manicured hands with longer nails. I've seen magnetic ones and they don't stay close all the time, buttons take a long time and if you've changed one you'll know what it feels like getting half way and realizing you skipped one and having to pull it apart and do it all over again.

Nail Clip Kit: Babies are born with little sharp nails! It's true and the older they get the more grabbing they do. I have been scratched so many times. It's not always the length but the corners, so this kit comes with not just the clipper and scissors and nail file but also a baby tweezer. Cute, simple and to the point!

All-Over Ointment: This Honest ointment was wonderful with my daughter. She had very sensitive skin and using this helped her barely ever get any redness or rashes. It's natural and aside from being used on just their butts it can be used for dryness on their face or hands and pretty much anywhere. I remember using it for her baby acne and within days it was gone. Ever since I kept it on me every time and specially during the cold winter back in England.

It has been so long since I've blogged and updated on anything! But I figured now is as best time as any. I have been keeping a wonderful secret! In 2022 we will welcome our third (more than likely last) baby! I kept this pregnancy hidden from everyone and I can't even express how mentally thats been wonderful. But now we get to share the news, specially because I didn't think I could hide the belly anymore. I've been putting more effort in videos and photos and now blogging again and I figured I would share my must haves and my most likes. I will also be making some YouTube videos showing all the fun things I've been buying slowly over time and what I recommend or don't as a third time mom. I hope to have you follow along and enjoy this content.

Having a second child you would think I would carry less stuff however regardless of the occasion I love overpacking and having things I may need. Because you just never know! I have so many diaper bags because I love changing them according to where we're going, what I'm wearing and for how long we'll be going for. For example if we're just going to the grocery store I stick to my JuJuBe Classy or my Fawn Design since I like wearing it like a purse and messenger style and it's easy to handle with one hand. If we're going to spend the day at the zoo which here it happens to be an hour away then I go for my Skip Hop Greenwhich diaper bag because it's bigger so I pack more stuff and comfy to wear plus free hands. If I have an event to go to that requires a more dressy up or I just want to use a particular purse, my ToteSavvy makes it easy for me to transform any into a diaper bag. I'm very particular! So with that being said I came up with the stuff I mostly carry around in pretty much every bag.

We have made it to nearly 5 months of breastfeeding and that’s about 5 months over my goal. I’m proud of myself for trying to stick to it for as long as I could. I did everything possible to keep my supply up. From pumping every 2 hours to only exclusively breastfeeding (as recommended by a lactation consultant), to brewers yeast, to fenugreek supplements, to only eating oatmeal and a gallon of water, to healthy eating only to eating the extra 300 calories a day, to drinking dark beer. Everything! I tried everything I could even if it meant I was pumping while driving and washing bottles non stop. My baby was only on boob milk until about 3 months then I had to start supplementing with formula during the day because she would be so hungry. I refused to let her go hungry over anything. We were traveling back to the states (9-10hr flight) and I did not want a screaming hungry child on the plane so I brought formula with me.

On September 24th, 2017 Annalynn Everlie-Rose Ordonez graced us with her presence.
Weighing in at 6lbs and 11oz, 18 3/4in long.
And just like that this little girl took over our lives and we became a family of 4.

Newborn Mocassins | Dress-Gemma | Personalized Blanket
We have a little girl coming!!! I gotta say I always pictured myself as a 'boy mom', I always wanted my first child to be a boy no matter what. But of course part of me wanted a little girl to dress up so the fact that we are going to have one of each just makes me feel complete! Time to bring out everything pink and decorate with glitter! I was so antsy to find out what we were having from the moment I found I was pregnant, but just like I did with my son I just knew right away that it would be a girl. I was so sure but my husband was hesitant as majority of his family is boys. We got to do the blood test at 10 weeks pregnant and then did the ultrasound confirmation at 15 weeks. Each time I was still surprised that it was real! She already has a nice closet growing, I can't wait to put everything together for her arrival already. As you can tell I already started shopping.

Old Wives Tales:

Feeling Queasy. Morning sickness means girl and none means boy.

With Jax I wasn't nauseous at all. With this one I threw up a lot but mostly because I was actually sick with infections and all.

Verdict: Girl!

The Ring Test. Take your wedding ring a tie to a string. Hold it above your belly, if it moves side to side it's a boy,
moves in circles and it's a girl!

Verdict: Girl!

The Boob Test: If your right boob is bigger, it's a Boy, vice versa and it's a girl!

Verdict: Girl!

Cravings: Craving sugary sweets and it's a girl. Craving salty and savory and it's a boy.
I wanted cold apples and oranges at first, then I wanted some sort of candy at least once a day!

Verdict: Girl!

Bumps: If you're carrying high, it's a girl. Low and it's a boy.

Verdict: Girl!

Chinese Gender Calendar: Google the imagine of the calendar.

Verdict: Girl!

Baby Heartbeat: If baby heart beat is over 140 it's a girl, below it's a boy.

I was iffy about this because Jax had a 170 heart rate and so did this baby.
Verdict: Girl!

Goldie Locks: If you have shiny healthy hair and clear glowing skin, it's a boy. If you're breaking out and have dull hair, it's a girl.

Verdict: Girl!

Hairy Legs: If your hair is growing faster on your legs, it's a boy. If it's the same it's a girl.

Verdict: Girl!

Partner put weight on: If your significant other gains weight it's a boy. If they remain the same, it's a girl.

Surprise! I have been MIA a bit because well as it turns out we have another little one on the way. This little one is far more special than we could have imagined. It's our rainbow baby and that alone has kept me on the line this entire pregnancy. No one tells you how paranoid you're going to be after a miscarriage. It has been so tough and scary but I know God will provide this baby with all the health and love it needs. We are thrilled to be becoming a family of 4 as well as a bit terrified. However our toddler is just beyond amazing and I know he will be the best big brother ever and I cannot wait to see him.

We have survived our first month!
Aside from all the main things we must have, these are some of the small things that were a huge help. I want to share with you what I felt was a necessity and what really came in handy for myself and my little stud muffin.

/

Prince Lionheart Premium Wipes Warmer - I never thought this would be a necessity but after realizing how Jaxs freaks out with cold wipes, I'm so glad I bought it. It's a life changer for those late night diaper changes. They stay nice and warm, don't dry out or over heat. For me it has become a must and I highly recommend it!

Mommys Bliss Massage Cream - I use this after his baths at night and massage it throughout his little little body. The best thing about this is that it's lavender, chamomile & ylang ylang. Which relaxes him and puts him right to sleep. It absorbs fast and it doesn't leave any oily residue. It's perfect to prepare him for a long night of sleep which also means a long night of sleep for me as well.

Ralph Lauren Onesie - This one in particular is incredibly soft but the main reason I put this one is for the type of opening this onesie has. It's really easy to just snap and change without having to fully undress him. Again this is your best friend for those night changes.

Lansinoh Nipple Cream - If you are breast feeding or plan on it, I recommend this nipple cream. Not only does it help a lot after nursing but it's safe for your baby to breast feed even if you have some on and it's also to apply before getting in the shower to protect them. Trust me the water makes them hurt and with this it really does protect them.

WubbaNub - This little thing is great. This pacifier (the soothie) is like the hospital ones, however with the toy it helps the baby take a hold of something. I feel like this one helps it stay in their mouth better than the regular one. With or without the little giraffe, this pacifier is the best one I've used.

Bath & Body Works Hand Sanitizer - I keep one everywhere. In the diaper bag, my ourse, bythe changing table, by my bed... Everywhere! I try to keep my hands clean every time I touch my baby so I don't give him any germs. Also comes in handy after diaper changes or if I get spit on. And they come in wonderful scents! You can't go wrong with that.

SootheTIME Cruisetime Car Seat Cover - Being a fall baby, I knew the temperature would be dropping soon. So instead of just wrapping him in a blanket I found this great car seat cover. Not only does it have the nice soft inside to keep him warm but the outside is waterproof, perfect for rainy days! He stays nice and warm and I don't have to worry about wet blankets. It also closes up if you just want to see their face.

Shea Moisture Organic Head-to-Toe Wash & Shampoo - I wanted a shampoo with chamomile in it because my mom told me it's what she used with me when I was little. It relaxes the baby and leaves their hair feeling nice and soft. So when I came across this I was really excited. The best part is that it's organic! Aside from chamomile it also has raw shea and argan oil. His hair is so soft and smells wonderful afterwards I can't stop smelling him. Nice, gentle and safe for your baby.

Marlo Lorenz THRO blanket - I own about 4 throws by this guy. These are the softest blankets I have ever felt! When I came across a baby one in blue with safari animals on it, I didn't hesitate to buy it. I'm glad I did because this soft blanket is my baby's favorite. He sleeps in it every night, keeps him warm and it's gentle on his skin. I highly recommend everyone goes out and buys one... or two.

Baby Gap Organic Mittens - These are a little big for newborns but you can still use them. They're organic which are super soft, and they do stay on! The elastic isn't too tight it's just right. This way they don't scratch their cute face off like a lot of babies tend to do.

Organic Mothers Milk Tea - If you are breast feeding this tea will be perfect for you. It actually did help me increase my milk supply. I like it really sweet, it actually tastes way better that way. It's been a huge help for me, I drank 1 cup a day but you can drink up to 5 a day. I would recommend it for those who are a first time mom and you really want to try to increase your milk supply. It's a natural tea, they say some side effects are diarrhea and strong body odor but I actually didn't have any side effects. Everyone is different!

On November 13th, 2013 at 11:39am, Jaxon Alexander Ordonez graced us with his presence!
Weighing in at 6lbs and 14oz, 20.5in long.
This beautiful little miracle changed my life forever with just one look. Never did I think I would have my whole world right in my arms.

At 40 weeks and still no baby, I began to think I would be pregnant forever! But somehow I began to get a feeling that he would be there that week. Somehow I just knew. Come Monday at 7:30am I woke up in a jump feeling like I had peed myself but it wasn't like my water broke, it was tiny bits here and there. So I changed and went back to bed, a couple hours later I woke up again with the same feeling. I told the hubs that I had a feeling something weird was going on so I wanted to go for walks and stay on the move all day just in case it was really happening. So I went out to run a few errands and I kept getting a few contractions every so often. By the end of the night they started getting worse.

Hubs and I went on another walk around the block and he was telling me how nervous he was that it was the real thing, yet very excited to finally meet him. We decided to go to bed and see what happens, but the pain only got worse and worse to the point where I started to count these contractions and they were 6-7minutes apart lasting 1minute long. This went on for 2-3hours, by 11pm I called labor and delivery and they told me the basic things like take two tylenols and drink 3-4 cups of water right away and lay down on my left side, within the hour they should go away. Well 2 hours later the pain only got worse. I then went to the bathroom and noticed I had bloody show with mucus. At 2am hubs kept hearing me moan through the pain and he just plainly asked "do you need me to take you to the hospital?" I really didn't want to go. I didn't want to have to just lay on a bed for hours. I wanted to be at home for most of it, but I also didn't know how far along I could possible be, being that on that very day I had a Drs. apt at 1pm... It was a long way to wait.

So off to the hospital we went. They first started checking me and tracking my contractions, I wasn't dilated at all but my cervix was definitely making the progress. They said I had to wait around 6am for the Dr to arrive. I could already tell it was going to be a long night. Contractions got worse and worse, the Dr decided to check me in and hook me up. I was so glad for the nurses they were all so attentive and fast. She had began my IV so I could have all the fluid I need by the time it was time for the epidural. But I couldn't receive the epidural till I was at least 4cm dilated. It was going by so slow! But I was grateful that I wasn't forcing my body into that it all came naturally. I did not want to be induced.

Finally I got to the point where the pain became unbearable. I would sleep every 5 minutes only to wake up with horrible pain. Hubs stayed by my side holding my hand and supporting me. By then it was about 2pm a different Dr that was on call broke my water and said I was ready for the epidural. I didn't even feel the sting everyone says or the burning ... Absolutely nothing! It was perfect! I fell asleep right away. 3 hours later I woke up nice and numb. My cervix was fully done but I still needed to dilate more so the Dr decided to give me some pitocin to help with the progress. However the pitocin gave me a fever which made the baby's heartbeat go up. So they began to work on helping my fever go down.

On Wednesday at 3am I was finally fully dilated! Only wanted him to drop a little bit more and I could begin to push! Around 4am we began to push, I pushed for about 2 hours and I just had to rest. I was so sleepy and it was so draining from being up every minute. They woke me up again around 8am to push again and I did not stop, but the baby was stuck with my tailbone. The dr offered for me to keep pushing to help stretch but that he can also help pull him out a bit to get him over that bump. I tried my best to keep pushing but eventually I just knew I needed his help. I hadn't eaten in the last couple days, and being only on ice chips began to make me sick... Literally. So finally with the help of the Dr and my hubs supporting me every second along with the best nurse that never left my side and did nothing but encourage me, out came baby Jaxon! With a full set of hair! (Explains the heartburn) I'm not an emotional person, I was more shocked that teary eyed. This baby just came out of me... Me! I made a baby? This is MY baby... So many thoughts at once. I looked over to the side to see my hubs getting teary eyed but trying hard not to cry. That just hit my heart all at once. Oh my god this is my baby boy!

I don't think I've ever felt so many emotions all at once. I put him skin to skin and we just layed together and I stared at him and I fell in love. And so begins the start of something beautiful...
