One amazing place checked off my bucket list! Everyone needs to visit Paris at least once in their lifetime. I got to spend Christmas with my family and it was beyond magical. We weren't so caught up on presents or spent thousands traveling back to the states to see family in such a tight amount of time. As hard as it is not being able to spend it with them I did enjoy just having the holiday with my small family. It was fun exploring, trying new foods and seeing Jax get super excited over the tower! He was a dream child during this trip. We drove from England to Paris about a 6 hr drive and spent every day out walking around (we didn't bring a stroller) and he was fantastic, he walked so much and held our hands, even posed for many pictures. I'm surprised he wasn't over it by the second day.  We can't wait for our next adventure to come!

This year all I had was a tripod and a camera on self timer while we tried to suck it up in 30 degree weather! It was fast but to the point. Merry Christmas from my family to yours.

1. Minion - Lately my son has been obsessed over the minions, it was in fact the first movie he ever went to see. He knows almost every part of the movie by memory and learned to say banana thanks to them as well. A minion toy that talks, specially phrases by the movie is perfect!

2. Slinky - This is such a 90s or even older toy and such a simple concept yet thats exactly what entertains them the most. push it down the stairs and they'll love it even more.

3. Play Food - Whether you have a boy or a girl there will be a point when your kid will pretend to eat something or cook it, you just gotta go along with it and enjoy that delicious felt cookie.

4. Shopping Cart - Every child goes through a moment of loving to push anything, from the moment they start to walk. My son has a simple plastic one a friend gave us and he takes it everywhere and I mean everywhere we go!

5. Kindle - As much as I love technology, I love that my son isn't glued to the tv or a tablet 24/7. However we do travel quite a bit and to get through those long 10 hour flights or 5+ drives we would fill up the iPad with all his favorite movies. However iPads aren't cheap and if they break, well you know the rest. The Kindle is not only built to handle hard falls but it had a kids mode that you are able to control and small enough to fit in those little hands. Also super inexpensive and affordable!

6. Car - Cars are just fun for any kid, they love to ride around and roam the streets. I made sure that when I was searching for a car I needed it to have a parental control (you never know where they may take off to) as well as a seat belt and music (my little one loves to jam in the car). Needless to say my already cars obsessed child will have endless fun.

7. Bowling Set - Sometimes our little ones love to throw things whether its in anger or for fun, I think this would really help them focus and hit some stuff all in good nature fun.

8. Vacuum - For the little one that likes to copy mommy or daddy and likes to push things around.

9. Wagon - So this may be more of a present for us parents but I'm sure they enjoy sightseeing in this. You can even add seats with seatbelt or a canopy for rainy days.

10. Camera - I'm a photography taker. I snap pictures as often as I can and when I can and I believe that rubs off. I've caught my son holding up my camera and pretending to snap photos and I just knew he would love this gorgeous wooden camera. That and i don't put my expensive camera at risk.

Ever since he was born I knew I didn't want to have endless amounts of toys all throughout my house, so I've always thought carefully of things that not only will last but he will be entertained by and aren't going to end up at a garage sale. Focusing only on his actual likes rather than the latest trend. His best Christmas yet!

Side note: Please remember that if you still keep the Santa gift tradition for your little ones, to be modest. Something small and simple. No Santa should be leaving an iPad while other kids only receive a train.

Happy Holidays!

1. Whisky Wedge Glass - If your significant other enjoys a drink every now and then, this is perfect for a nice cool drink. Look even fancier than you are.

2. Theme Socks - As we get older we really do appreciate other things don't we? Socks just get better and better!

3. Sunglasses - Keep those beautiful eyes protected year round and in style!

4. Working Hands Cream - If your significant other works with their hands often this is a must have. My husband is a avionics specialist so his hands are roughen up, I like to make sure he keeps them nice and soft not just for himself but for myself as well. We don't want rough hands touching us don't we?

5. Beat Pills - Music on the go is perfect when they either have homework, work or just outside hanging out. Easy to carry anywhere and the sound quality is amazing!

6. Smart Watch - If your significant other is like mine and always "misses" calls from keeping his phone in his pocket then this is a great gadget for them. Not only is this a nice looking watch that he can wear anywhere but it takes your phone calls and shows you who is calling!

7. Boots - I like to call these 'year round boots', we live in England so the rough roads and mostly cool weather allows this. They're comfy and stylish for you man!

8. BB8 - Star Wars has been the huge movie of the year. My husband is a huge fan (not going to lie, I'm becoming one the more I learn about it). This little droid is just a fun gadget for true star wars fans.

9. Fitbit - Perfect to keep in shape in a small accessories that fits perfectly on your wrist.

10. Graphic Tees - Tees are such a fun way to say funny things. I always get my husband graphic tees of things he likes.

3. Bathrobe - Any robe really, I like to relax in something comfy in the mornings or before bed. This robe is so luxurious you'll feel like you are in a spa!

4. Starbucks Tumblr - Whether you are a coffee drinker, tea drinker, smoothie drinker, wine drinker? A cute tumblr has become more of a accessory than just a drink cup.

5. Leather Gloves - They just work so well for winter.

6. Quay Sunnies - Quay Australia has become my favorite sunglass company! I own 6 pairs and I want more! They're styles are so unique and make such a statement piece.

8. Nikes - Make your new years resolution stick with these gorgeous stylish nikes! They're so comfortable and unique looking.

9. Polaroid Camera - For cute photo ops on the go.

10. Journal - I like to have notes by my desk every time, I come up with so many ideas that sometimes I feel like typing it isn't enough. Writing it down makes it happen! I love a sturdy college rule notebook with a gorgeous from design.

Good morning! Happy Valentines Day to those that enjoy celebrating the day of love! Today I tried my hardest to wake up extra early so the hubs can have some delicious not-every-day style breakfast. For starters I want to begin by saying that this is the first time I made pancakes without them messing up by sticking or burning! I'm glad my skills kicked in today. Also this breakfast was supposed to have heart shaped bacon but apparently someone ate it all last night... Cough cough hubs cough cough.

Anyways, I want to share this Red Velvet Pancakes recipe because they truly came out delicious! It doesn't have to be valentines day to make them.

Ingredients for Pancakes:

- 1 1/4 cups of all-purpose flour.
- 2 cups of red velvet cake mix.
- 2 eggs.
- Pinch of salt.
- 3/4 of baking powder.
- 1tsp of vanilla extract.
- 1-2 cups of milk or water.
- 1tbp of sugar.

For the frosting I just bought cake frosting and melted it. Easiest and fastest way to get cream cheese syrup.

Instructions:
- In a mixing bowl, add all the ingredients with exception of the milk or water and whisk together.
- Slowly start pouring in your milk/water until you reach your desire consistency. (I prefer it a little thicker, it seems to make them fluffier).
- Once mixed, make sure pan is at a medium temperature, you don't want it to cook them too slowly or too fast! Turning the dial a little below midway should make it around 300 degrees.
- With a spatula, after you see the top bubble, flip and cook the opposite side. Keep an eye on it!
- For frosting, pour in a small microwave safe container, for merely 15-20 seconds. Pour over pancakes, throw in some sprinkles and you're done!

Hope you enjoy the pancakes as much as I did! Be on the look out for different color velvet cakes at walmart! I saw some pink and blue velvet cake mix!

I'm not huge on the holiday but I do love to make everything pink and red! I can't wait for Jax to be able to eat real food so he can enjoy the holidays the way I do.

For the cinnamon buns all it takes is just some reshaping and adding some pink food coloring to the glaze!

For those of you that follow me on instagram you have seen that I've been doing Paleo and I've been working so hard on sticking with a very healthy meal guide. Today was the only day I get to indulge in anything sweet like this. But I did try to not over do it and still managed to have my delicious healthy fruits on the side!

Little man slept in till after the hubs left for work and after I was able to eat. He woke up in such a great mood! I just love when he does, he changed my mood completely and makes me happy in the mornings... Like that ever happens! He gets so talkative and lately is very distracted by his feet.

We just had a wonderful morning. I'm glad I was able to have the time to do something for my love since today we work opposite shifts and I won't be seeing him till after 9pm! Have a wonderful and lovely Valentines Day Everyone!

This year believe it or not is the first Thanksgiving I have ever prepared an entire meal (and turkey) all on my own. I figured I'd go all out since my mother-in-law was visiting. Typically the hubs and I don't do huge meals, we would spend it with friends since having all that food just the two of us is ridiculous.

I got to enjoy my first full glass of wine in almost 10 months! And may I suggest this amazing wine gifted to me by a great friend of mine. Not gonna lie, after one glass I started feeling a little something. Little man was loving his time with his grandma, he spent endless hours sleeping in her arms.

We had a wonderful dinner, even though we couldn't see all our family on this holiday, we are beyond grateful to have had at least one in our home this year.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

7 things I'm grateful for:

1. My son: I never thought I would love someone as much as I've experienced love for this little guy. I always thought my "maternal" instincts were only going to be towards my girls. But I've come to realize how life can truly change. I'm seeing him grow right in front of me, everyday is different and he amazes me more and more. The lil surprise God had planned for me.

2. My hubby: He's my best friend. I can't express enough how fortunate I am and how lucky I feel to have him. He's a true gentleman and always expresses love for me. Almost 5 years and he's still the same flirt. He's the love of my life and I'm beyond grateful for having him in my life.

3. My Girls: My puppies were my very own first dogs. Belle has been my little girl since day one. She's the very one to bring out the maternal instincts in me. I got to raise her since she was barely 2 months old. She's one of the smartest dogs I've ever met in my life, she can say so much with her looks she will amaze you. Jazzy is more a daddy's girl but this little girl is the most gentle caring dog, she has a maternal instinct towards their new lil brother now. Always so protective. I'm grateful to have these girls in my life. They're always there whether you're happy, sad, mad, or not all there.

4. My Family: you know when they tell you that one day you'll appreciate your mom? That one day you will miss your family? You never think it to be true when you're 18 years old. But once I moved out right after my 19th birthday, I never thought the one person I would call daily would be my mom. Moving out helped me grow up and appreciate my family so much. I'm thankful that whenever I have an issue they are the very first to help me. My mommy and daddy-o (yes I still call them that) go above and beyond for my sister and I. They back me up and show me support with every decision I make and advice me on whatever I need advice on. I sure feel blessed and thank God nightly for giving me such a wonderful family. This including my uncle, aunts and grandma. I will never stop being thankful for them.

5. My Friends: "Quality above quantity" this is such a true quote. I have merely an amount of true friends that I can count on one hand. Throughout the years you come to realize who your true friends are, better yet, moving away showed me that even more. I may live over 500 miles away but I talk to these people on the daily. My bestest friend since I was about 11 years old, we can go days without talking and once we talk is like time has not passed. I'm grateful to have them in my life because we all need friends to talk, relax with, gossip, joke with and so on. Cheers to true friends!

6. My Job: Not a particular one, just the fact that I even have one at all! So many people are in need of jobs in the world, I don't take it for granted. I'm grateful to be able to work and make money. It provides for us, whether is for food, or bills or even just luxuries. I'm able to have a car and make holidays special thanks to the money I make. Always be grateful with things like a job, because you never know what can happen and how much you can lose without one.

7. The Military: Having my hubs in the military is both exciting and scary. The benefits have been so helpful to us but with every good comes bad. Otherwise the military has provided us with a life. We have been able to meet such wonderful people, our military family. Friends that will last a lifetime that come from all over the country. I'm thankful for it and I support our troops always.

I hope your thanksgiving was wonderful!
What are you grateful for this thanksgiving?
