2013 was by far my most exciting year yet. I always had something to look forward to.
As every year goes, we start our new year celebrating our anniversary.
Joes birthday is right around the corner in January and every year I dedicate myself on making his most perfected cake. Something that he loves and that will wow him. I try to out do myself each time.
Along came Lola! I just saw her and fell in love!
To our big surprise we then found out we were expecting a baby!
I was able to help a friend out as a photographer at a wedding, this was huge for me because I was able to really breakout more and show what I can do. Also gave me more of a bigger reason to improve my photography skills.
Only having one car big enough for a baby, we had to let go of the sports car and upgrade to a four door.
After waiting a few months (just to be safe) we finally announced the pregnancy to friends.(family already was the first to know)
I was able to throw a reveal party with our family! I enjoyed sharing the moment of finding out the baby's gender with everyone.
And it was of course our little boy!
We went to see one of the bands I have been dying to go see! Matchbox Twenty and the Goo Goo Dolls. It was so much fun to have this date night with the hubs. I couldn't have asked for a better night. Little man enjoyed it inside too.
We then got the second biggest news that would add more change to our lives... We were moving to the UK, England!
Being such an amature photographer I knew that I wanted to photograph every detail of any moment. Specially my pregnancy! I want to look back and remember it all. We had our maternity shoot in Florida beaches. Pure bliss!
My baby shower came along and I was so blessed to have been with all my friends and family. Everyone got our little boy everything and more that he needed. Little Monster baby shower!
As we tried to leave florida I knew that with all the wonderful things that have happened this year, some bad were bound to. Starting with the accident on my car. Pushed us back a few days...
After the car incident I then understood why God had different plans for me to stay. The worst moment for me was losing my first baby boy Charlie. I was just blessed to be there when he passed.
Finally arriving home we were able to put our baby boys nursery together! It was only a matter of time!
As time was creeping up we went on what we consider our last date as only a family of 2(not counting our girls on this).
At 40 weeks and 3 days(he cooked all the way) our beautiful handsome baby boy made his appearance! Changing our lives forever and showing us a different way of seeing life.
Thanksgiving rolled around and with having a two week old you wouldn't think I'd be able to pull off having a dinner, but not only did I pull it off, it was my first thanksgiving dinner that I cooked entirely on my own! Even got to enjoy a glass of wine, first one after more than 10 months.
My favorite holiday season had begun, the best part of every year! We got to see our family once again this year! Nothing I love more than spending time with them. Jaxons first Christmas and he was able to be with family!
Finally the way every year ends and begins. New Years! Also my anniversary. First one I wasn't able to spend with my love due to his job. But I was able to ring it in with my best friend and my baby boy!
This year was the biggest life changing year, and I'm sure the next will bring much more.
I hope you all have a wonderful New Year!
